The useful price is the price of the complete window you need, installed in your opening. A rate per square foot is a starting point: it does not tell you whether two suppliers have included the same glass, reinforcement, hardware, finish or installation work.

How to calculate a preliminary budget
For a rectangular opening, multiply width in feet by height in feet. A 5 ft × 4 ft opening is 20 sq ft. At an illustrative ₹650 per sq ft, its base calculation is ₹13,000. Three identical openings would give a base of ₹39,000. This is arithmetic only: final measurement, minimum billing rules and additional work can change the bill.
Record each opening separately. A bedroom with two small windows is not necessarily priced like one large opening with the same combined area: the number of sashes, locks and fabrication joints differs.
